Experience
Baylor University Adjunct Lecturer I teach "Fundamentals of International Politics" in the Political Science Department. Through this course, I teach students to interpret texts from the perspective of history, social science and philosophy. I emphasize critical evaluation of ideas and expect students to apply behavioral theories to current events. I emphasize careful textual interpretation through written work. I help students develop clear thesis paragraphs, arrange written arguments effectively, and synthesize a variety of perspectives. A.P. U.S. History Tutor I tailor this type of teaching to my students. I am happy to review materials where students need to refresh their memories, and I provide analysis of written work to prepare students for the essay portion of the exam.
